Established in 1989, Litchfield County Dispatch, Inc. (LCD) is the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Litchfield County, Connecticut. Answering for twenty-two towns in Northwest Connecticut, LCD dispatches forty-six Fire, Medical, and Police services which cover 945 square miles and approximately 150 thousand citizens. Combined, LCD averages over 85,000 Fire, Medical, and Police calls annually.
