About Us

CVFD is an all-volunteer emergency response organization serving Cornwall and the surrounding community. Our Department focuses on firefighting and emergency medical services, and expands to encompass incidents posing a threat to life or property. From structure fires to motor vehicle accidents to cardiac events, we provide response and rescue every hour of every day.

Join Us!

As a member of CVFD you will join an enthusiastic band of volunteers dedicated to helping our neighbors and community. We are happy to welcome new members in both the Fire and EMS divisions and for administrative and non-responding, support functions. We offer skill training and mentoring.
